Baghdad-IRAQ, 26 June 2019 - The People's Republic of China made a generous contribution to UNHCR of USD 2 million over the past two years which provided protection and assistance for Palestinian refugees in Iraq.

Baghdad, 25 June 2019 – The United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) welcomes a new contribution of CAD 5 million (approximately USD 3.75 million) from the Government of Canada to facilitate and enhance gender mainstreaming initiatives in the mine action sector, while simultaneously developing institutional capacity enhancement in the country.

Baghdad On 22 June 2019: As the world commemorated its first World Food Safety Day under the theme of Food Safety, Everyone's Business, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) renewed their commitment to support the Government of Iraq in ensuring all Iraqis have access to safe, nutritious food security by 2030.
